German divisions in Denmark

Below is a list of the German divisions, that were stationed in Denmark, 1940-1945. The list includes the divisions, that had territorial responsibilities. Division under formation or in transit are not included.

For a part of the units no war diaries etc. has been preserved from theri time in Denmark. However, you can find information on the units in the activty reports (1940-1943) and the war diaries (1943-45) of the commander-in-chief and the orders of battle.
