Ammunition stores

The bunker's ammunition stores were located on the north side of the firing pit. There were two rooms for charges and two for shells. The four large ammunition rooms could hold a total of about 160 shells and charges.

The heavy shells and charges were moved around with the help of a hoist, which were run on rails in the ceiling.
Shells and charges were transported to the ammunition stores from the big ammunition bunkers in the area behind the gun bunkers. They were transportet on a narrow-gauge ammunition track that ran through the bunker.
