Well bunker

The bunker was built in 1941 and house a well for drinking water for the 38 cm battery.
The battery lies about 1,6 km away, but it decided to drill two wells at stream of Hansted Å, because here the wells would only have to be 23 m deep, whereas a well within the battery site would have to be 50 m deep to reach ground water level.
Two bunkers of this type were built in Hanstholm.
