Heavy anti-aircraft battery (10,5 cm), »Brunbjerg«

To protect the 38 cm battery against aerial attacks, four heavy anti-aircraft batteries were emplaced around Hanstholm.
The battery position on Brunbjerg was established in the summer of 1942 onwards, and it consists of 23 concrete bunkers.
The guns of the battery could fire their shell to a distance of 15 km and to a height of 10 km.
As a secondary task, the guns were fire at enemy troops, which came from the south through the Hanstholm Reservation. For this task, the observation bunker on the slope was built.
