Traces of the war in the dunes near Hanstholm
Storytelling and walking tour by museum curator Jens Andersen.
At the northern end of the Hanstholm reserve is one of the country's best preserved bunker positions. Here the Germans began building the coastal battery "Hanstholm I" just a few days after the occupation.
It has left very clear traces in the form of large concrete bunkers, but we also need to look at the holes left by the German minefields.
Price: Free of charge.
Meeting point: Rest area on Kystvejen at milestone 42.
