Artillery batteries around Troldsting

Location: Tinghøj near Bulbjerg
The area around Bulbjerg was fortified by the German forces during the Occupation.
We're going to see many of the surprising and hidden remains
from anti-aircraft, anti-tank, and artillery batteries in and around the plantation.
Moderately challenging terrain. Not suitable for wheeled mobility aids.
Price: Free of charge.
Meeting place: The parking lot at Tinghøj, between Bulbjergvej and Ellidsbølvej.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS:
The parking lot at Bulbjergvej/Troldsting-Tinghøj.
If you’re coming via Bulbjergvej (from Thisted), drive halfway up the Bulbjerg slope and then turn right right at the hairpin curve. After driving one kilometer along the old “German Road,” you’ll see the large grassy parking lot on your right:
If you're coming via Ellidsbølvej (from Fjerritslev), continue until you see "Bulbjergvej" on your left. Drive along this road for 500 meters until you see the parking lot on your left.
