Christmas exhibition at Thisted Museum

Throughout December you can visit Thisted Museum and dive into the special exhibition Christmas in Thy.
Here you can see the museum’s elf landscape, its collection of Christmas decorations, and read old Christmas magazines. You can also test your knowledge of Christmas spices—can you identify them by their scent?
And you can also learn more about local Christmas dishes. What do you eat for Christmas? That’s something we’d love to hear about. The exhibition also features a poll—do you eat duck, roast pork, both, or something completely different for Christmas dinner?
You can also enjoy Christmas songs or learn about traditions and stories.
The exhibition opens on Sunday, December 1st and runs for the rest of the month.
During the month of December, the museum will be visited by hundreds of happy Christmas children from Thys kindergartens and schools. They will hear about Christmas in the old days and listen to a story about when people forgot it was Christmas!
