The gun pit

The gun turret stood in the gun pit in the middle of the bunker. The gun and it's turret has been removed for many years. The dimensions of the gun pit are, however, impressing: 25 m wide and 5 m deep. In the middle of the gun pit is the 2 m high gun base, on which the gun turret was fastened with 24 heavy bolts.
